Villanelle Poem: “Journey of Her Years”
She dreams beneath the moon's soft, silver glow,
In fields of youth where, time moves slow and sweet.
The girl becomes the woman she will know.
With every step, through highs and deepest lows,
She learns to dance on life's unsteady feet.
She dreams beneath the moon's soft, silver glow.
From childhood's end to where the wild winds blow,
Her heart beats strong, her spirit won't retreat.
The girl becomes the woman she will know.
She faces storms, the rain, the cold, the snow,
Yet, she finds her strength in every trial she meets.
She dreams beneath the moon's soft, silver glow.
In the mirror's gaze, reflections start to show
The paths she walked, the memories bittersweet.
The girl becomes the woman she will know.
With wisdom gained from years that come and go,
She stands with grace, her journey now complete.
She dreams beneath the moon's soft, silver glow.
The girl becomes the woman she will know.
